Friday June 14,Dallas gets a food truck park. US Food Trucks is converting space at Mockingbird and Maple to a truck park. Initially the Park will be open for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, with lunch service beginning in July.
Saturday June 21– Back in 2011, the first “event” that the food trucks worked was the Arts District Summer Block Party. For those who were building the food truck industry in Dallas, that was the night they knew they were going to be accepted. Two years later, the Summer Block Party continues and the trucks will be there again. From The Arts District: Celebrate the season in The Dallas Arts District at our annual Summer Block Party, Friday, June 21, 2013. This event combines Late Night at the Dallas Museum of Art, 'til Midnight at the Nasher Sculpture Center, and Crow Collection After Dark on the third Friday of each month, with each offering free general admission. There's so much happening, we're bursting at the seams. The party will spill out onto the streets with tasty treats and tons of fun along Flora & Harwood. Join us for food, tours, music, film, performances and much more!
